'a super long day and a summer along the way'
oh. my. gosh. today was sooo tiring!! math at the end of the felt like it took FOREVERRR. (can you tell i hate math?) anyway- today i had theee..

- 1. the school day
- 2. before 5pm (a.k.a getting ready)
- 3. after.
1.
as i said, the day of school before the market was torture. we had a civil war 'road trip' assignment, which took the entire 1.45hour period. and i still have to work on it tommorrow :( (sighs in slow working...) anyway, electives weren't any better. and math took SO LONG. my school cafe(teria) had domino's today, so there was light at the end of the tunnel (i think thats what its called??) anywho.. the time before the art market was a 16/4pm-17/5pm slot where the students were getting their portfolios ready, and i was helping set up and ate some pizza they gave to everyone. when i was going in, i saw a girl crying, and saw a girl comforting her. which turned out to be her girlfriend which is cool because my school needs more gays :). anyway, it was kinda fun just setting up!

it started out as kinda awkward. as ive had noexperience in marketing/selling artwork (i mean, i probally have, i just cant remember.)ANYWAY.. it kinda started getting more filled. with a good 100-230 people i saw. which is a ton for my small ahh school. there was a few different things like necklaces, 'friendship' bracelets, and some stuff made out of molds with ceramics and stuff. there was also $1 stickers. all the stuff were really good deals though. but something suprised me. so since we dont have a credit card machine(idk man idk what its called...) so we only used check and cash, and 3 people wanted change for one. hundred. dollar. bills. who the hell uses 100 dollar bills, which was a pain to make for change if you wanted to know.
3.
the end was kinda rough. and ill explain the main part. it was also a pain in the BUTT to try to find how much we did. so since were a school, we use these paper recipets to check how much we made. but, since we had a mini-stand for this girl that did pins (she's cool) she forgot to use the reciepts. oh my gosh that pmo so much because me, and the other volunteers ALL got a different number. with each being 10-40 dollars in difference. so that took a lot to sort out.. (o yea we ended up getting 36 sales so i guess thats not bad?)
